This was our favorite place in bonaire by far! The food was amazing. The owner is really friendly and know how to pair beers well. The head chef was great as well! He personalized the meals to our dietary requests and even let us try some things off the menu. All the food was amazing. It was the type of place that I usually would have stuck with one thing because I liked it so much, but knew that no matter what I got, it was going to be good. We took home a great red wine (uno) from him for a great price and they even gave us a bottle opener to go with it because we didn’t have one. If you go to Bonaire, this is a must.
We were really looking forward to this new restaurant but it was surely not to our liking. Somethings that went wrong:- Waitress was very absent. Both waitresses with only 4 tables being served.- Watiress tried to serve us old processecco. When we complained about no bubbles - they opened a new bottle. Trying to serve your clients old processecco - wow - how stupid is that?- The signature dishes (scallops and Bisque) were mediocre at best. The scallops were a bit overcooked to our liking, the bisque was overcooked as well (imho).- The mains were simplistic not flavoured enough. The shrimps were cooked in the sauce. The sauce was very watery - no body at all. The chicken makhani had hard overcooked chickenbreast pieces (those should not be in there!). The spices were absent apart from the yellowish colour. This could have been chicken anything...- Waitress didn't check for a wine or check at all during the rest of the evening.Totally disappointed and I was hoping Bonaire had gained a great new restaurant. Don't waste your money here!
